Why won’t he just shut up?

What is it about know-nothing, sanctimonious jerks like barack, that their one true area of competence seems to be demonstrating what fools they are? His maleficence and stunning lack of basic understanding are the chief causes of our current economic death spiral. Yet there he is, day after day after day, calling press conferences in which he blames everybody but himself, calling for new, even more destructive measures. Yap, yap, yap, yap, yap. Never anything new, just the same tired marxist platitudes and class warfare. Meanwhile, unemployment goes up, gas prices go up, the stock market goes down, America’s credit rating goes down, our standing in the world goes down.

But there he is again, operating his pie-hole with a license to kill by serial stupidity.

It turns out our generation is not the first to suffer at the hands of a self-proclaimed genius in training pants either. Solomon, in Ecclesiastes 10 [all references are NASB translation], speaks words that just make you want to exclaim, “Don’t I know it!”

10:3: Even when the fool walks along the road, his sense is lacking and he demonstrates to everyone that he is a fool.
10:12-14: Words from the mouth of a wise man are gracious, while the lips of a fool consume him; the beginning of his talking is folly and the end of it is wicked madness. Yet the fool multiplies words. No man knows what will happen, and who can tell him what will come after him?
10:16: Woe to you, O land, whose king is a lad and whose princes feast in the morning.

Probably talking about his son, Rehoboam, the future Idiot-in-Chief, of whom barack reminds me so very much. There truly is nothing new under the son. Solomon knew, even then, the utter folly of left-wing views:

10:2. A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left.
