I just want to point out something interesting that came from the mouth of the third-ranking Democrat in the House, James Clyburn(D-SC). \nThe shooting is cause for the country to rethink parameters on free speech, Clyburn said from his office, just blocks from the South Carolina Statehouse. He wants standards put in place to guarantee balanced media coverage with a reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, in addition to calling on elected officials and media pundits to use \u2018better judgment.\u2019<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I don\u2019t care to debate the merits of his assinine idea. I just want to point out that the Left has always claimed that the laughably misnamed \u201cFairness Doctrine\u201d was NOT an attempt to curb the Right\u2019s voice on talk radio. The Right has always known better.<\/p>\n Now we have Clyburn calling for the \u201cFairness Doctrine\u201d specifically for the purpose of shutting up the Right.
